Fashion Month Just Ended: Here's Our Chicest Beauty Picks To Celebrate
Happy Monday!
Fashion Month just ended and in its honor, I thought it would be fun to share the chicest beauty pieces in our beauty collections.
As Gia says, these are the products that have earned a permanent place in our makeup bags and bathroom shelves for not only how they perform, but for the small sense of luxury they bring to our daily routine.
For me, luxury beauty has always been about fragrance and for a sense of pure indulgence, my favorite go-to fragrance house right now is Initio Parfums Privés. In an industry currently obsessed with ‘quiet luxury,’ Initio is unapologetically bold and functional. And expensive!
It is fragrance house suited for the woman who isn’t afraid to be the most interesting person in the room. And if I want to be noticed - I always do it through fragrance. My makeup and hair are always understated. But my fragrance - not so much!
I am currently obsessed with Side Effect which has notes of tobacco, vanilla, and rum. Ironic considering I’m sober - but its boozy sweetness makes me feel instantly glam and polished. I also LOVE Oud for Greatness! This is confidence bottled! Bold, spicy, and perfectly genderless (which is why my son love to wear it it too)!

Anyone who knows me will know I am unapologetically devoted to Dior. The house has long mastered the balance between elegance and practicality in beauty, and its products instantly make you feel put together. Naturally, a couple of my picks come from Dior!
Dior Forever Nude Radiant Filter
When it comes to packaging, Dior rarely misses. Their compacts feel timeless and are genuinely luxurious.
Pressed powders are notoriously difficult to get right. Many I’ve tried have felt chalky or drying, leaving makeup looking cracked rather than smooth. This Dior powder is an exception; its texture is exceptionally lightweight, creating a soft-focus effect across the skin with a subtle radiance rather than a flat matte finish.
What makes it particularly impressive is the skincare element. The formula is infused with hyaluronic acid, meaning it sets makeup while maintaining hydration throughout the day, something surprisingly rare for pressed powders.
Dior Hydrating Eye Patches
Beautiful makeup always begins with good preparation, something I learnt early from my mother, a professional makeup artist.
On days when I need to look noticeably more awake, eye patches are non-negotiable. Dior’s version feels particularly indulgent: cooling, soothing, and instantly refreshing. The monogram design admittedly caught my attention first, but the formula itself delivers.
Infused with hyaluronic acid, they help restore hydration while reducing the appearance of puffiness. Any remaining serum can be gently tapped into the skin afterwards, acting almost like an additional eye treatment.
Yves Saint Laurent Make Me Blush Powder Blush- Shade 42
As someone firmly devoted to pink, this blush immediately caught my attention while I was in Italy last year. It quickly found its way onto my wish-list, and into my makeup bag soon after.
The packaging alone is undeniably chic: soft pink with the iconic gold YSL emblem. But the real appeal lies in the formula. The texture is velvety and highly pigmented, meaning the lightest tap of a brush gives a fresh flush across the cheeks.
I often sweep a little across my eyelids as well, which creates a soft, rosy tone that pulls an entire look together with minimal effort.

It’s no surprise that beauty products are my guilty pleasure. I love that we live in a world where we can find great dupes, but sometimes there’s nothing like being a little bit of a lush and treating yourself to something special.
My makeup kit is a full hodgepodge of products, but two items are my crown jewels—products I will always repurchase and simply can’t find anything comparable to on the market.
Clé de Peau Concealer SPF 27
Before you call me crazy for recommending a $77 concealer, hear me out. This concealer isn’t just a concealer. For starters, it has SPF - a major bonus. But the texture is what really makes it special. Imagine the most luxurious, velvety butter at a little bistro in Paris while you’re sipping champagne and eating a baguette—that’s the level of smooth we’re talking about.
It glides on effortlessly, blends like a dream, and never settles into fine lines. It stays put all day and truly makes your skin look bouncy, smooth, and well-rested. It’s basically a secret weapon for faking a great night’s sleep. There’s a reason it constantly sells out - it really is that good.

Hermès Trio Iridescent Mineral Powder
Now you might think I’m really crazy, but trust me, remember, I’ve tried just about every product on the market, and I’m a very tough critic. This highlighter is basically a magical powder for an instantly perfect glow.
After I finish my face color, I dust this over the high points—cheekbones, brow bone, and the bridge of my nose - and instantly it’s like an aura of glow appears. It’s hard to explain the feeling, but we’ve all had that moment: you’ve done your makeup, you look in the mirror, and something still feels like it’s missing. This is that missing step.
A little goes a long way, and even with daily use it lasts me over eight months.
The way I see it, not every beauty product needs to be a splurge. I buy drugstore shampoo and body wash. I’ll live for my E.L.F. lip products, and I love my NYX and Maybelline staples. But in true girl math fashion, if I’m saving money on those items, I basically have “free” money to invest in my two luxury favorites.
Paloma 💋
Out of all of the products in my (vast) makeup stash, one thing I won’t leave the house without is a little something on the lips. If you make your lips the focal point and throw on some sunglasses, it’s the easiest way to look put together!
Clinique Almost Lipstick Black Honey
To me, the idea of chic is synonymous with timelessness. The Clinique Almost Lipstick in Black Honey has been a staple in make up bags since the 90s. It is such a versatile shade that looks good on everyone. I love keeping it in my handbag for touch ups but it’s also great on the cheeks for a natural looking flush of colour!
Dior Addict Lip Maximiser
While I’m a firm believer that you don’t have to spend a ton on your beauty products, sometimes a little splurge is good for the soul. If you wanted to treat yourself on a little something, it doesn’t get much chicer than this Dior Lipgloss. I can put it on in the morning and my lips are still plump and hydrated after my coffee, it’s that good. There are 45 shades to choose from and a little goes a long way - they even offer complimentary engraving on the already iconic packaging. Chic!
Have a chic week everyone!
