Why the Skims Valentine’s Drop Belongs on our 2026 Beauty Mood Board
Lace, cherubs, and Lana Del Rey: How Skims is Defining the 'Romantic Aesthetic' with a nod to the 2000s
Skims has unveiled its 2026 Valentine’s collection, a limited-edition selection of lace lingerie, printed sleepwear and pink-toned loungewear now available at skims.com and through selected retailers, including Selfridges and Nordstrom.
Founded by Kim Kardashian in 2019 as a shape-wear label, the multi-billion-dollar brand has since expanded into sleep, lounge and ready-to-wear, with seasonal drops now driving consistent sales. The new Valentine’s release continues that trajectory, offering coordinated sets designed for both gifting and everyday wear in the lead-up to Valentine’s Day.
The collection introduces stretch-lace bralettes, baby tees, fitted tanks and matching shorts alongside Skims’ established sleep silhouettes. Prints feature throughout: kiss motifs across lace sets, cherub-style graphics and limited-edition patterns including the Bloom Mini Multi Animal design within the Skims Sleep range. Soft pink tracksuits and graphic tops lead the drop, aligning with the brand’s wider 2025-26 visual direction.

The aesthetic nods to mid-2000s (2016) lingerie styling. A period currently seeing renewed interest across fashion and beauty, but is delivered through Skims’ familiar emphasis on comfort, extended sizing and wearable silhouettes. Rather than treating the pieces as single-wear Valentine’s novelties, the brand continues to frame Valentine’s dressing as lounge and intimates intended for repeat wear.

Celebrity affiliation remains central to Skims’ visibility. The brand’s 2024 campaign featuring Lana Del Rey in retro-inspired lace and silk imagery marked one of its most widely circulated collaborations and helped further its appeal across younger luxury consumers. Paris Hilton has also publicly praised the label, previously calling Skims iconic, underscoring its continued celebrity approval.

Valentine’s lines remain a strong retail driver within the intimates market, particularly across giftable sets and coordinated sleepwear. With limited-run prints and seasonal packaging, the new Skims drop is positioned to appeal both to self-purchase shoppers and those buying ahead of the holiday.

(If I had to choose one piece from the drop, I would gravitate towards the limited-edition Barely Pink Angel Sketch Set. The graphic feels distinctly early-2000s in the best way, and the softer pink palette makes it an easy, wearable entry into the collection’s more playful prints).
The collection is available now while stocks last.
