Chasing Glow at 4PM
The 3 products Gia is reaching for this December...
Because my beauty favourites always start with a feeling: here’s the December mood-board that’s been living rent-free in my mind (and informing every winter skincare product I’m reaching for).
The temperatures have dipped, the air is sharper, and my skincare routine has officially moved into winter mode. These are the products I’m genuinely relying on; the ones that survive night-out makeup, dry skin season, and my general obsession with feeling a little bit glowy even in the dark at 4PM!
My Top Winter Skincare Must-Haves for Glow
The Best Hydrating Facial Mist: The Organic Pharmacy Rose Facial Spritz
This became an instant obsession after my Rose Crystal Lymphatic Facial at The Organic Pharmacy. As a floral lover, the scent alone feels like therapy! I’ve been using it twice a day for weeks, and it gives the kind of dewy glow you normally only get after a facial. It’s a spa-like moment in a bottle: refreshing in the mornings, calming at night, and easily my favourite product of the month.
The Lip Oil I Buy Over and Over: Clarins Lip Comfort Oil (Shade 08 Strawberry)
If there is one lip product everyone should own, it’s this. As someone with three bags of lip products (no exaggeration), I do not say this lightly: Clarins makes the best lip oils on the market. They’re not sticky, they glide on effortlessly, and they work with everything: a bare-face day or full glam layered over a matte lipstick. I’ve already gone through two, and Strawberry remains my perfect everyday gloss-tint.
A Winter Hydration Hero: Dior Capture Totale Intensive Essence Lotion
Winter and my combination of acne-prone and dry skin = chaos… unless I use this. I discovered it during a facial and have been hooked ever since. Yes, Dior skincare can be an investment, but I actually received mine in a beautiful Christmas gift-set from my mum, complete with mini sizes and a shimmering CD pouch that makes the loveliest present for anyone skincare-obsessed.
This essence-lotion makes my skin look glowy under makeup and actually hydrates rather than disappearing on contact.
Dior describes it as “enriched with two types of hyaluronic acid to visibly plump the skin, with an ultra-fresh, liquid texture that applies like an essence”
and honestly, that’s exactly how it feels. It nourishes deeply, sits beautifully under foundation, and gives that winter-proofed radiance I crave.
