The Beauty Ed®’s Note: When Avery joined my student mentorship group, THE LAB, one of the things I loved most about working with her was her honest viewpoint. After decades in beauty - where so many reviews, launches, and routines come pre-packaged with PR angles, algorithm pressures, and unspoken brand expectations - reading an unfiltered review is refreshing. As a high school senior managing papular eczema, Avery isn’t looking at a skincare line through the lens of media metrics or affiliate commissions; she’s looking at it through a real, practical filter of: ‘will this irritate my skin?’ and ‘is it actually worth spending money on?’ So when No7 sent me their new Good Intent range to try (with no obligation to write about them) I knew she would be the best person to test them out. What you get from Avery is pure honesty and a brilliant real world review.
My skincare routine used to consist of just face wash and moisturizer and because I have papular eczema, I have a hard time trying new products. So when Donna gave me this line to try, I was cautious, although I liked the fact the line intends to create a glowy finish and glass skin appearance.
I think one of the first standouts of the No7 Good Intent range is the packaging. On the side of each bottle, it walks the consumer step by step through which order to use the products and what the product’s purpose is.
Testing No7’s Good Intent Range on Papular Eczema
While I didn’t care for the thickness of the Cloud Bounce Whipped Foam Cleanser because it does not work well with my FOREO Luna 4, I had my boyfriend try the product because I wanted an acne-prone skin perspective, and he said that he really enjoyed the shiny finish.
My boyfriend also tried the rest of the products and he really only liked the cleanser because the other products were bringing clogged pores up to the surface instead of just getting rid of the gunk. He also noted that all the products together feel heavy on the skin. However, I disagree.
I truly believe that the majority of the products are worth the price. I would recommend the Glass Skin Ritual set if you want to keep it simple with only four products, which is currently on sale for $84.00. But I personally love The Complete Routine, which is on sale for $142.00.

The Hits and Misses: What Was Actually Worth It?
My top three favorites are:
Radiance Reflect Spray Serum - Even though it is supposed to be a treatment, it is extremely gentle on the skin and doesn’t dry you out or make your skin peel like other serums and treatments can.
Skin Sip Moisture Milk - This is the perfect finish to the skincare routine as it makes all the products underneath feel light and airy. I feel as though this product serves as a moisturizing seal.
Dream Drench Wrapping Mask - I absolutely love this gel mask. Every time I peel it off, it leaves my skin with the glowiest finish without looking oily. The only reason I rank it as number three is that you have to apply a lot more product than the instructions say in order to easily peel the mask off. Instead of applying an even thin layer, I would recommend applying an even, medium-sized layer to the skin so that when the product is dry, it peels off almost seamlessly.
An honorary mention is the Skin Sip Bouncy Eye Cream. I love to apply it underneath my reusable eye patches. The product significantly improved my dark undereyes almost immediately.
Though a product that I never reach for is the Silky Jelly Lip Mask because it left my lips drier than before. So, if you are considering buying the entire line, I would leave out the lip mask.
Avery’s Final Verdict: Is the Glass Skin Trend Safe for Sensitive Teen Skin?
I think if you want a simple skin care routine that consists of just face wash and moisturizer like my boyfriend, this line isn’t for you. BUT, if you are in the market for a medium-length skin care routine that gives instant glowy results, I would definitely consider almost all of these products. I found that they are very gentle on my skin and left me with no irritation or itchiness. Overall, this line is perfect for people who have mostly clear skin and want a glowy finish.
